      With the strong belief that good pastries can bring people happiness, I chose this as my career!  
​

       I earned my CAP Pâtissier (French pastry diploma) from the renowned culinary school Grégoire Ferrandi in Paris. I have worked in Michelin 3 Stars restaurant Le Pré Catelan, and the chocolate shop Jaques Génin. 

      In 2022, I started Shushu’s French Pastry in San Carlos. I offer delicious and healthy classic French pastries with a touch of Chinese tradition and philosophy. I use organic ingredients when I can. I add just the right amount of sugar to bring out the flavor. That said, I often reduce the 15-50% sugar amount that the recipe asks for.

      I believe a small piece of delicious pastry is enough to bring satisfaction and happiness for the day.

       I am also passionate about sharing my baking skills. I have taught baking classes through Moonlight Collective and through San Carlos Parks& Recs.

       Besides pastry, I am a certified Taiji instructor. I enjoy the beauty and health benefits of this traditional Chinese martial art. Taiji has taught me about inclusion, respect, and adapting to situations.
