Fall Baking Classes
Discover the art of French pastry-making in this hands-on class! During the fall session, we will make classic French pastries and Mooncakes for the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. After enjoying your delicious creations in class, you will take home what you’ve made to share. No prior experience is necessary, just a passion for baking and tasting! Shushu was trained as a pastry chef at Ferrandi Culinary School in Paris and owns the cottage food bakery.
Thursdays 6:30-8:30 at the kitchen in San Carlos Youth Center

September 11 - Scone 3 flavors (chocolate, olive, raisin) recipe from the famous Japanese store A.R.I.
October 2 - Mooncake 3 flavors (jujube, lotus seeds, coconut).
November 6 - Choux à la crème (cream puffs).
December 4 - Christmas Cookie Gift Box (assorted shortbread cookies).
